SFR Historic

The SFR Historical Heritage Foundation (SBB Historic) takes you from the past to the present, through over 180 years of Swiss railway history. The purpose of the foundation is to collect, preserve, document and archive contemporary witnesses of Swiss railway history. To this end, SRF established the SFR Historic Heritage Foundation (SBB Historic) in 2001. The aim of the foundation is to make the valuable witnesses from the cultural and economic history of Switzerland as a railway country accessible to the public.
