MGBahn-Historic

The MGBahn-Historic association, founded in 2016, aims to prevent the demolition of selected, historic traction units with electric drive and to preserve them for posterity in a suitable manner. The members of the association, together with the employees of the MGBahn, are committed to the preservation of important examples of Swiss railway technology exported throughout the world in the 20th century. The valuable vehicles are either to be preserved in working order or at least to be refurbished as museum objects and stored in a weather-protected location. It is planned that club members will also be able to actively help with maintenance and care at a depot location of the MGBahn.
