The locomotive HG 3/4 No. 9 in pictures
Ten of the HG 3/4 steam locomotives were procured by the Brig-Furka-Disentis Railway from 1913. The cogwheel locomotives built by the Schweizerische Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik Winterthur (SLM) were used in France and Vietnam after being discarded in Switzerland. To date, four examples have been preserved in working order, three of them (Nos. 1, 4 and 9) at the Furka-Bergstrecke steam railway (DFB).
