The DFB Oberwald Station

Passengers travelling on the Furka Steam Railway can use the facilities at the neighbouring MGBahn railway station. The MGBahn station building has a ticket office, toilets and a restaurant. The PostBus stop is located on the station square. Tickets for the Furka Steam Railway are sold on the platform before departure. Steam railway tickets are not sold at the MGBahn ticket office. Postbus tickets are sold by the bus drivers on board the vehicles.

Arriving by car: Via Grimsel Pass and Gletsch or via Brig and Ulrichen. The DFB railway station in Oberwald and car parks are located in the immediate vicinity of the MGBahn railway station on the western side of Oberwald.

Arriving by public transport: Take the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn) from Visp and Brig. The DFB station is connected to the MGBahn station by an underpass.
