The DFB Furka station with mountain restaurant

The Furka station is open on days when the Furka Steam Railway is operating. Trains stop for around 25 minutes at the highest point of the mountain route (2,160 metres above sea level). A heated tent allows passengers to sit together comfortably even in cool weather. In addition to toilets, the station has an information point with brochures. Local products are also sold in the Furka buffet. There is no ticket office; tickets are sold on the train.
